Today I did some writing.

WALT describe a special place in the community around us. This is what I wrote:

The McDonalds playground is fun to play in because you can play with all your friends. I play with my family. I see people taking orders from customers that have ordered from the machine. They ordered french fries and chicken nuggets. I smell a Bigmac  and  French fries  and chicken nuggets and they smell good.  I  want  some because it  smells pleasant!  I love it!! 

I used a word card to find a better word for good. I chose the word pleasant. I would like to use another card again.

Rubbish that is in Space

We are learning about space rubbish. Space rubbish is little stuff that falls out of a rocket and satellites like little bits of metal and stuff.In our group we said words about same and different rubbish.  We put words in the circles. The words in the middle are the same about earth junk and space junk.Some stuff that is same is that rubbish is little in space and little on earth, and it is messy. The different about space junk is that there are solar panels and bits and its a lot further away. The earth rubbish like paper scraps and plastic is floating in the sea and kills sea animals.I like that we learnt facts about space rubbish. I noticed that there is some different space junk in space and different rubbish on earth. You don't find dead cars in space!!I want you to know that I had fun learning about space junk.  x

Planets

This is my work from Monday.  It took me a long time to cut it out the planets then I had to glue it onto the paper in the right order from the start of the Sun to the last planet which is Neptune. I also put in Pluto. 

I feel happy because I worked hard. Mrs Broadwith said I was very focused on my work today.
It is nice being back at school. 

This is my reading learning for today. It is a KWL chart.
The first line is some things about what I know about the Sun, the Earth, Mars and the Moon . It's not everything that I know. The second line is what I want to know about them.

After that I went around and asked Celeste, Zeb, Simon and Joseph some facts about the sun, the moon, Mars and Earth. They told me some good facts!!

I found it hard to write but I am proud because I did the whole page and tried hard.

Kayaks

I like Kayaks because they are fun in rivers.
